Do's at Yamuna Maharani Temple, Vishram Ghat
1. Please remove your shoes before entering the ghat and temple areas.
2. Dress in modest, traditional attire. Men should wear a kurta-pajama or full trousers with a shirt, while women opt for a saree, salwar kameez, or clothes that cover their shoulders and legs.
3. Maintain a respectful silence and a devotional atmosphere within the temple.
4. Please deposit all donations and offerings in the designated Hundi or at the office only.
5. If you are bathing in the Yamuna, please use the designated changing rooms available for women
6. Keep the ghat and temple areas clean by using dustbins for waste.
7. Respect the aarti timings and rituals; arriving a few minutes early will enhance your experience.
8. Watch over children near the river steps, as they can be slippery.
9. Be cautious of pickpockets and monkeys, particularly during festivals; keep your valuables secure.
10. If you choose to take a boat ride, negotiate fairly and confirm the price before boarding.
